Mr. William Thomas Herring, age 87, passed away February 28, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was retired from General Motors. Mr. Herring is survived by a daughter, Linda Kay (Timothy J.) Bomya of Michigan; sisters, Joyce Jurewicz of Sylacauga, AL; Rebecca Littleton of Sylacauga, AL; Ruth Ward of South Haven, MI; Naomi Hale of Louisiana; and Martha Osbourne of Sylacauga, AL; brothers, David Franklin of Sylacauga, AL and Joseph B. Franklin of Tennessee; and grandchildren, Christopher T. Bomya and Elizabeth T. Bomya. Visitation for Mr. Herring will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at Westside Church of God at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend James Beam officiating.
