William "W.L." Horn

Beloved patriarch, William “W.L.” Horn, age 81, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. W.L. was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sharing his passion for the outdoors with his children and later his grandchildren. He lived his life for others, always taking care of his loved ones. If W.L.’s life could be summarized in one phrase it would be, “He always did it right!”

W.L. is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol Lee Horn; son, Scott Horn (Donna); daughter, Amy Conn (Alan); four grandchildren, Kalyne Roberts (Tyler), Dawson Horn, Kaylei Horn, Jacob Conn (Caroline); great grandchild, Bennett Conn; five siblings, Carolyn Burroughs, Nicole Waters, Kim Ingram, Mike Horn, Barry Horn; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet Lili Bet.

W.L. was preceded in death by his son, Chad Horn; parents, Alvin & Flora Horn; two sisters, Margaret Faye Sala, Shirley Hardaman; and two brothers, Ken Horn and Leslie Horn.

A visitation for W.L. will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Bro. Mike Kiser officiating.

W.L. will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Pallbearers will be Ken Pennington, Chris White, Trent Horn, Russell Davis, Nathan Mizzell and Chad Reams.
