William R. (Pop) Roberson

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for William R. (Pop) Roberson, 95, will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. David Mann officiating. Burial will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery in Talladega Springs, AL.

Mr. Roberson died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Matthew and Mary Sue Roberson and wife, Maebell Self Roberson. Mr. Roberson was a WW2 Veteran and was the most humble man you would ever meet. He was a wonderful father, father-n-law, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by son, Terry Roberson wife Shelia of Talladega Springs; three daughters, Judy Roberson Barnett husband Roger of Wedowee, Vivian Roberson Bullard husband Glenn of Marble Valley, Bonnie Roberson Coleman husband John of Marble Valley; brother, Ralph C. Roberson wife Gloria Jean of County Line; six grandsons, Chris Knight, Brandon Waites, Brett Waites, Clay Coleman, Kyle Coleman, Trey Roberson; granddaughter, Shay Roberson; six great-grandsons, C.J. Knight, Jacob Knight, Bricen Waites, William Waites, Noah Waites, Luke Coleman and great-granddaughter, Ella Waites.

Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Waites, Chris Knight, Trey Roberson, Clay Coleman, Kyle Coleman and Brett Waites.
