Daniel Ray Jenkins

Sylvania – Daniel Ray Jenkins, age 88, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. He was born in Hiltonia, GA, to the late Eustace & Maudine Daughtry Jenkins. He was retired from SRS and was a member Hiltonia Christian Church. He was an Army Veteran having served as a Drill Sargent during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Flatman Jenkins, his parents and brother, Terrell B. Jenkins.

Survivors: Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Danny & Sharon Jenkins, Roger & Diane Jenkins and Pat & Renee Jenkins, all of Evans, GA; Sister: Voncile J. Mobley of Sylvania; 5 Grandchildren: Susanna Jenkins, Luke Jenkins, Brianne Catherine Jenkins, Brooke Lee Jenkins and Eric Jenkins; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steven Hughs officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Luke Jenkins, Eric Jenkins, Blake Evans, Jeff Wells, Shane Phillips and Tommy Sheppard.
