Eileen M. McGealy Hubbard

Carlsbad, NM (formerly of Sylvania)–Eileen McGealy Hubbard, age 89, passed away October 10, 2010 at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, NM. She was born Manchester, England and was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Leslie James Hubbard; Daughter: Sharon Meade; Parents: Michael and Julia Fitzsymmes McGealy.

Survivors: Daughters: Eileen H. Sanford of Tucker, GA and Ann Marie Whitney of Atlanta, GA; Sister: Julia McGealy Heelam of Warrenton, England; Brother: James McGealy of Manchester, England; Grandchildren: Kimberly Duncan, Stephanie Whitney, Todd Whitney and Stayce Orban; Special Nephew: Dr. Larry Hubbard; Several Other Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Rosary Service: Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Louis Lussier officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Frank Newton, Charles Kimbrough, Marty Lee, Bernard Brown, Thomas Masterson and Bob Balducci.
