Sylvania – Elizabeth Scott Lariscy, age 87, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at her residence in Sylvania. She was born in Screven County, was retired from White Stage where she worked as in inspector and was a member of Sylvania First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Donald Lariscy; Parents: Thomas Winfield & Julia Bazemore Scott; Son-In-Law: Fred L. Mobley, Jr.

Survivors: Daughters and Son-in-Law: Donna L. & Howard Miller of Stone Mountain, GA and Vicki L. Mobley of Sylvania; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Thomas W. , Sr. “Tommy” & Nancy C. Lariscy of Sylvania; Sister: Carrie S. Hicklin of Stone Mountain, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Jackson E. & Shirley Scott of Cochran, GA; 8 Grandchildren: Dawn M. Lee of Lawrenceville, GA, Kimberly M. White of Stone Mountain, GA, Karen M. McCall of Loganville, GA, Walt Lariscy of Gainesville, GA, Chad Lariscy of Guyton, Melissa L. Lariscy of Sylvania, Eleanor M. Gladding of Tucson, AZ and Lee Mobley of Statesboro; 15 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purnell and Rev. Walt Lariscy officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Lee Mobley, Chad Lariscy, Bucky Lariscy, Joseph White, Joey McCall and Walt Lariscy.
