Frank Lavaughn Forehand

Sylvania (formerly of Girard, GA)–Frank Lavaughn Forehand, age 94, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015, in Sylvania. He was born in Screven County, GA to the late Stafford Bernard & Mattie Jenkins Forehand. He was a retired ironworker and was a member of Hiltonia United Methodist Church. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in WWII and was a member of Hiltonia Methodist Men’s Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; Wife: Alice Hayman Forehand; Son: Ronnie L. Forehand.

Survivors: Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Dewayne & Kay Forehand of Girard and Dale & Cathy Forehand of Sylvania; Daughter-In-Law: Judy P. Forehand of Newington; Sisters: Maurice F. Sharpe, Teresa F. Godbee and Robyn F. Reddick, all of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Clint Forehand, Johnathan Forehand, Shane Forehand, Travis Forehand, Jeffery Forehand, Sean Scott and Andrea Forehand; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Hiltonia United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 3:00 P.M. at Hiltonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Sirmons and Rev. Ralph Dixon officiating. Burial following at Bascom Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers: Grady Mobley, Johnny Hight and Eddie Grunewald.
