Sylvania – Harry Lawrence McMillan Jr., aka "Silver Dollar", age 64, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro. He was a retired truck driver and was a member of McDonald Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by Parents: Harry L. McMillan, Sr. and Eula Mae Skinner McMillan Olsen; Brother: Donnie McMillan; Step-Daughter: Lynn Marie Bragg.
Survivors: Wife: Joyce Bragg McMillan of Sylvania; Daughters and Son-In-Law: Tonya McMillan Thompson and Sonya McMillan & Jeremy Dyches, all of Statesboro; Step-Children: Nancy Sink, Andrea Waits & Shayne Harkins, all of Sylvania, Edward Dickerson of Rocky Ford and Brett Harkins of Statesboro; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Shirley Ann & Donald J. Tuten of Bloomingdale, GA, Diane M. & James L. Burke and Linda Marie & John B. Burke, all of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Staci Dyches, Katlyn Collins, Addison Morris and Chelsea Dyches; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: Sunday, July 24, 2011, at 1:30 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Karen Zeigler officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
