Jacquelyn S Scott Austin

Sylvania –Jacquelyn “Jackie” Scott Austin, age 77, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Syl-View Health Care Center. She was born in Screven County, GA to the late Johnson David “J.D.”, Sr. & Myra Taylor Scott. She worked many years in the service industry and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a Brother: David Scott.

Survivors: Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Mitchall & Pam Austin and Dwayne Austin, all of Newington, GA; Sister: Carol Jean Scott of Sylvania; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Calvin and Nancy Scott of Sylvania; Sister-in-Law: Linda P. Scott of Effingham County, GA, Grandchildren: Tiffany Michelle Rollins and Adam Austin; Great-Grandchild: Bradley J. Rollins; Step-Grandchildren: Jessica Lee Mock and Kara Marie Evans; Step-Great-Grandchildren: Makenzie Evans and D.J. Mock; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Visitation: Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John D. Austin officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Adam Austin, Brian Scott, Bryce Scott, Jessie Shuman, Jacob Lariscy and Brannen Austin. Honorary Pallbearers: Staff of Syl-View Health Care Center.
