Mrs. Juanita Mock, 81, of Statesboro, formerly of Sylvania, died Sunday morning at her residence under hospice care.
She was born in Screven County to the late Joseph Mack and Louise Helen Godbee Broxton, was a retired lab technician with the Coca Cola Food Division, and was a member of Farmdale Baptist Church where she taught the Senior Adult Sunday School Class for a time.
Her parents, her brother, Tony Broxton, and her husband, Jack Ellis Mock, Sr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include: A daughter, Belinda Mock Tucker of Statesboro, A son and daughter-in-law, Jack Ellis (Butch), Jr. and Marsha Mock of Lakeland, Florida, A sister and brother-in-law, Martha Ann and Paul William Locke of Dover, Florida, 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Julian Del and Faye Broxton of Auburndale, Florida, and Gary C. Broxton of Lakeland, Florida, A sister-in-law, Hazel Marie Broxton of Lakeland, Florida, Grandchildren, Joseph Jack (Heather) Merritt, Kevin Mock, Eric Mock and Lette Tucker, 11 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mock will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 4:00 P.M. at the Farmdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Leland Jeffers and the Rev. Walter Leveritt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Joseph Jack Merritt, Luke Merritt, Joe Jeffers, Justin Brannen, Paul William Locke and Tyler Dees.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class of Farmdale Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 until 4:00 P.M. at the church.
