I was saddened to hear about June's passing from a dear friend who also knew her. It brought back so many wonderful memories. In high school, all her friends called her June Bug. She was thoughtful, sweet, funny, and a devoted friend. Unfortunately, I lost contact with her a long time ago, but I never forgot 
her, or all the wonderful times together with her, Dennis Barrington, Charlie Sikes, and myself. It was years ago, but it seems like yesterday. God Bless you June Bug, and I pray that we will meet again in Heaven.

I was deeply sadden to hear of the passing of June!  I knew her when we were in school at Bradwell Institute in Hinesville.  We were like the 4 Amigos; June Jenkins, Charles Sikes, Carol Wardlow, and myself Dennis Barrington.  We were always together, on dates, driving around, beaches, movies; it was us four!  As life has a funny way of changing things, Carol moved to California, I went into the Navy and Charles started going to college and June moved to Savannah, Ga.  We tried to keep up with each other but it was a never ending battle that we could not win.  To her family my heart goes out for you and yours, I knew your mother when she was 17 and full of life and always had a smile on her face, as I know she did until her last day on earth. I was sadden to hear the news of a former co-worker. I pray that the family will find peace and comfort in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

June was a wonderful friend who truly had a big heart. She would do anything for anyone. She is resting now but will be missed by many, including me.

I worked with June at Plant Vogtle for years and found her to be an outstanding co-worker and person.  Affectionately known as Jumping June, she was an encouragement to most everyone she was in contact with.  We were fortunate that God allowed us the benefit of knowing her.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

So sorry for your loss. I worked at Plant Hatch and had a lot of dealings with your mom. She was a very sweet lady and always so helpful. It was great to finally meet her and put a face with the name. We had many conversations about our personal life's. She was a true friend. She'll be greatly missed. Prayers for you all.
