Sara and Scotty, I just learned about your mother.  I am so sorry.  I loved your mother and I have so many wonderful memories spanning over many years.  Kay was indeed a special person, full of love and  compassion for others. I am so glad she was my friend and a part of my life.

Many years ago, Kay, Pam and myself roam the sidelines of SCHS Friday night football taking pictures. Kay took two pictures of me and gave them to me. My Mother put them on our refrigerator. They are still there today. Rest in Peace Kay. I will miss you.

So sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you with his presence.

Steven and Sara, I have known your mother for 30 years and have worked with her as an EMT and again at SRCP. Kay was always sweet and cheerful. she always was laughing and she made you laugh as well. She was kind and professional when she worked with the public. She was thoughtful, selfless, sincere, and loving. she loved you both and would brag on y'all often. And her love for Gary never diminished. She was just a fun and cool person that will be missed by many.

I'm so sorry Kay has left us but I know she is with your Dad and at peace now.  She was always a good friend to me and had such a loving, caring heart.  I loved her dearly and thankfully, I got to tell her that the last time I saw her.  She will live on in all of our hearts

Kay left some fond memories for many of us that will live forever.

Steven and Sara, Jamey called a few minutes ago and told me about your mom. I know there are no words that makes this time easier for you.  I do know how much she loved your dad and both of you! Hold on to each other as you struggle to get through the days to come without your parents.  God bless you and keep you through the difficult days ahead. Many prayers are being lifted up for both of you and I know God will be with you, even if you aren't able to see or feel him right now. I know you feel like the world should stop because your's has. Steven, Brandy, and Sara.  We are so sorry to hear about your mom.  She was a super nice lady and we will miss seeing her sweet smiling face and hugs.  She always told us she loved us when we saw her and we loved her, too.  Now she is perfect and painless, smiling and hugging your dad. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Sarah and Steven, I am so very saddened to hear about your Mom. She and I spent many, many years working together. She had that wonderful sounding laugh and a true feeling for the plight of others who were given less in this life. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that she is with you Dad now.

Sara and Steven,  so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a special person. She and Donnie loved to share their stories about your Dad with each other. I am sure that Gary and Donnie were there to greet her and start their stories again. Just remember the good times and that she loved you both very much.

Kay was a special friend, enjoyed time spent with her. She will always be a much loved and missed angel.  Love you Kay, I know that you and Gary are having a great reunion.  To Sarah, Steven, Brandi and grandchildren, I love ya'll and will be here for you.

Sara & Steven, Your mother was precious to me and always there when I needed a shoulder, which was often. I am shocked, saddened and speechless. There are so many waiting to show her around, especially her beloved Gary! I am thankful for all the wonderful memories. She will be greatly missed by so many!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.
