Lela Oglesby Lambert

Sylvania – Lela Oglesby Lambert, age 86, passed away on October 8, 2015, at Optim Medical Center-Screven in Sylvania. She was born in Screven County to the late Lawton & Annie Lean Dickey Oglesby. She was a homemaker and was a member of Bay Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Loyd “Buster” Lambert and her Parents.

Survivors: Daughters and Son-In-Law: Ima Jean & Jerry Rooker of Fairfax, SC and Vickie L. & James Altman of Sylvania; Son: Richard of Pooler, GA; Grandchildren: Ryan Loyd Lambert, Melissa Raschelle Fischer, Clarrisa Candice Cannady, Jerry Jeffery Rooker, James Mark Rooker, Tabatha Lynn Mong, Ricky Christopher Mong, George Mong and Anglea Maria Cordell; 17 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Sunday, October 11, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor George Pevey and Harold Fries officiating. Burial following at Bay Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Grandsons.
