Sylvania –Lois Nina Dickey Meads Jenkins, age 95, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Sylvania Manor in Sylvania. She was born in Jenkins County, was a homemaker and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husbands: Wallace Meads and Henley H. Jenkins; Daughter: Kay Meads Thompson; Parents: Harvey A. and Dessie Pierce Dickey.

Survivors: Sons-In-Law: Don W. Thompson of Springfield; Grandson: Greg & Mary Frances Thompson of Guyton; 2 Great-Granddaughters: Lindsay Thompson and Lauren Thompson, both of Guyton; Step-Grandson: Lance Wilson of Pooler; Step-Son and Daughter-in-Law: Clyde & Alice Jenkins of N. Charleston, SC; Step-Daughters and Son-In-Law: Martha & Roger Norris of Marietta, GA and Kay Kilby of Carrollton, TX; Several Step-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with Rev. Henry Bazemore officiating. Burial at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dannie Godbee, Heyward Stevens, Sherrill Jenkins, Lance Wilson, Clyde Jenkins and Raymond Jenkins.
