Norma Jene Thomas Thompson

Sylvania –Norma Jene Thomas Thompson, age 77, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Syl-View Health Care Center. She was born in Lake Butler, FL to the late Jesse & Reba Thomas. She was retired from AT&T where she worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in Worthington Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her Parents and a Sister: Marilyn T. Meredith.

Survivors: Son: Lary Thompson of Sylvania and his special friend, Marcy Lee of Melrose, FL; Sister: Myra Mae T. Land of Worthington Springs, FL; Grandchildren: Ashley Marie Thompson of Rincon, GA, Ashton Leigh Thompson of Savannah, GA and Tabitha Lynn Thompson of Heath, OH; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Buie officiating. Burial following at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
