Pamela Beth Smoak Ellison

Newington– Pamela Beth Smoak Ellison, age 61, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015, in Sylvania. She was born in Bulloch County, GA to the late Louie Furman & Mattie Lee Smith Smoak. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of Newington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and helping the elderly. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Her Husband: Milton Ellison; Brother: Louie F. “Bug” Smoak, Jr.

Survivors: Son and Daughter-In-Law: Alex & Christina Mock of Newington; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Gail S. & Earl McIlrath and Becky S. & Billy Milton, all of Newington; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Gaines & Debbie Smoak, Wayne & Mary Ann Smoak, all of Newington and a brother in Savannah; Grandchildren: Mattie Lee Mock and Gabriel Mock, both of Newington; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Newington United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Karen Zeigler officiating. Burial following at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Pallbearers: Matt Hodges, Billy Milton, Ryan Smoak, Curt Smoak, Ray McIlrath and Tim McIlrath. Honorary Pallbearers: David Mock, Aaron McIlrath, Bernard Brown, Dusty Burton, Tyler Milton and Billy Smoak.
