Renee Wicker Gay

Sylvania –Renee Wicker Gay, age 59, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She was born in Savannah, GA and worked for many years with bookkeeping and statistics. She was a member of Newington Baptist Church where she participated in the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and worked with the Koinonia Youth Group. She was preceded in death by her Parents: John Tripier and Marjorie Blackburn Wicker.

She will be missed by her family, Daughter and Son-In-Law: Allison and Garrett Bragg, Grandsons: Noah Garrett Bragg and Liam Joseph Bragg, all of Sylvania; Sister: Susan Boyette of Gloucester, VA; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Those wishing to express condolences may visit the family at Newington Baptist Church on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, prior to the memorial service.

Funeral Services: Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Newington Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Caldwell officiating. Burial at Newington City Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Roger Macomber, Johnny Gross, Nicholas Gross, Sidney Jenkins, Louis Lee and Lee Weldy. Honorary Pallbearers: Willing Workers Sunday School Class, Norma Weldy, the Macomber family and Robin Evans.
