Sadie Lucille Taylor Brower

Sylvania – Sadie Lucille Taylor Brower, age 94, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Optim Medical Center-Screven in Sylvania. She was born in Screven County, was retired from Warnaco, where she worked as a cutting room operator and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, working in her flower garden and especially enjoyed her family. She was preceded in death by Her Husband: Leslie James Brower; Parents: Doris Lester & Annie Sowell Taylor; Son: James M. Brower; 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters.

Survivors: Daughter-In-Law: Trecia H. Brower; Granddaughter: Christy Lynn Brower; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Exodyne Johnson officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Calvin Scott, Brian Scott, Garrett Yarber, Kenneth Brower, Brice Scott and Todd Bazemore; Honorary Pallbearers: Frank Johnson, James Hill, Fred Jenkins, Mack Beasley, Don Bazemore, Russell Brower, Freddie Overstreet and Alton Brower.

Special thanks to Brian for his daily uplifting visits, to Jean who was always willing to help, to family and neighbors for food and visits and Christy for living and helping with her grandmother.
