Stanley Stan Ray Lovett Sr.

Sylvania- Stanley Ray Lovett, Sr, age 76, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Optim Medical Center - Screven in Sylvania. He was born in Screven County, was owner of Ray’s Service Station and was a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church. He was also a U. S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Ray Odom & Lollie Bell Forehand Lovett.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-in-Law: Phyllis Maria Lovett & Bill Hollaway of Clifton, VA; Son & Daughter-In-Law: Stanley Ray, Jr. & Ilaree Lovett of Sylvania; Sisters & Brothers-In-Law: Betty Jean Mealor of Tifton, GA, LaRose & Gary Boyd of Sharpsburg, GA and Marsha & Dick McCabe of Houston, TX; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Herschel J. & Barbara Lovett of Martin, SC, Wallis E. & Dorothy Lovett and Theodore M. & Bonnie Lovett, all of Sylvania; 10 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Boyd officiating. Burial at Lovett Family Cemetery in Hiltonia.

Pallbearers: Ray Lariscy, Sport Lariscy, Bernard Boyd, Eddie Lovett, Ken Mealor, Jesus Rodriquez and Jimmy Watson.
