Born on May 13, 1973, on Long Island, New York, Aaron was the beloved son of Maureen and Jerry Rukin. He lived life with enthusiasm, style, humor, and a larger-than-life personality that made him impossible to forget.
Aaron earned his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and went on to build a successful home improvement business.
Aaron was the life of every party. He had an infectious sense of humor, a quick wit, and a gift for making people laugh. Whether telling stories, cracking jokes, or simply lighting up a room with his presence, Aaron had a way of touching people’s hearts and souls. If you met Aaron, you never forgot him. He had a remarkable ability to turn strangers into friends and friends into family. Many of the people he met while traveling became lifelong friends, and he cherished those relationships.
He had a passion for great food, whether he was enjoying a fine dining experience or creating something special in his own kitchen. Aaron was an amazing cook, a devoted foodie, and the person everyone called when they wanted a restaurant recommendation. Somehow, he could get a reservation anywhere. He was always planning his next unforgettable meal, his next vacation, and his next adventure.
Known for dressing to the nines, Aaron took great pride in his appearance. He carried himself with confidence and charm, with a distinctive personal style—always finished with a perfectly matching watch.
One of Aaron’s most remarkable gifts was his voice. He loved to sing and could captivate a room with his renditions of Frank Sinatra classics. Family gatherings, holidays, and celebrations often featured Aaron singing his favorite songs and creating wonderful memories.
Above all else, Aaron adored and was extremely proud of his daughter, Scarlett. She was the light of his life, his greatest pride, and his greatest joy. He treasured every moment they shared and loved her beyond measure. Aaron was the love of Marina’s life, and her forever person.
Aaron will be forever remembered by his beloved wife, Marina Rukin; his cherished daughter, Scarlett Rukin; his wonderful mother, Maureen Rukin, who is forever young at heart; and many loving relatives and dear friends.
Aaron lived life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to celebrate it. He loved deeply, laughed often, traveled widely, sang like Sinatra, enjoyed every great meal, and always showed up looking his best. His spirit will forever live in our hearts, in every family gathering, every shared meal, every Sinatra song, and every story that begins with, “Remember when Aaron…”
