

Born on January 15, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, Armand was the son of Armand and Louise Galante. Raised by his beloved parents in Flushing, Queens, he grew up the second of four boys, alongside his cherished brothers, Victor, Michael, and Paul. In his youth, he worked in his father’s butcher and grocery store, learning to cut meat with his father, who had learned the trade from his own father, also a butcher.
Armand graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1968 and SUNY New Paltz in 1972. In 1974, Armand and his father opened a liquor store in Flushing, the Wine and Liquor Den. Armand continued a 40-year career in the wine and liquor industry, representing nationally known brands and companies.
Armand married his beloved wife of 43 years, Denise, in 1983 and settled in Hicksville, New York, raising their cherished son, Matthew. Armand was a devoted parishioner of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Hicksville. Armand and his family enjoyed many years of family trips, dinners, holidays and outings.
Armand is survived by his wife, Denise; his son, Matthew; his daughter-in-law, Sara; grandchildren Antoinette and Bernard; and his brother, Victor. He was predeceased by his parents, Armand and Louise, and his brothers, Michael and Paul.
