Frances T. Rotolo, age 90, of Woodbury, New York passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. She met her husband Benedict, and they were married in 1963. She then moved to Long Island where she raised her two daughters. Throughout her life she worked as an Executive Secretary.
Frances is survived by her daughter Maria Gustafson (Jon); and her daughter Theresa Parrinello (Michael); her sister Lillian Cohen (Buddy); her grandchild Nicole Hand (Matt), her grandchild Jon Gustafson, Jr., her grandchild Lauren Parrinello, her grandchild Michael Gustafson, her grandchild Michael V. Parrinello and her great granddaughter Zoey Hand. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Benedict Rotolo; her father Peter Colletti and her mother Mary Colletti.
Fran was "the rock of the family," always providing a steady presence with unwavering support, strength, care, compassion, and wisdom. She will continue to inspire us each and every day. She was a woman of strong faith and her gentle spirit along with her loving heart was known to everyone she came in contact with. Although Fran had many passions including a love of music, dancing, cooking, crafting, reading, traveling, going to the beach, staying active and fit, playing Mahjong, and attending outings with the "Red Hat" Club, the one thing that stands out the most was her love for her family. Her family was her life and she always put everyone before herself. It is for all these reasons that her spirit will remain interwoven in the fabric of her family forever and ever. We love you so much and miss you dearly.
A visitation for Frances will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church (Livestream via www.st-edwards.org), 205 Jackson Ave, Syosset, NY 11791. An entombment will occur Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590.
