Ann (Kevin). In 1984 Fran married Harold (Red) Wangberg (dec.), a decorated Navy pilot in WWII, and is step mother of Carol (David). Cherished Grandmother of Paul (Kate), Christopher (Tara), Patrick (Jessica), Nicholas (Sandra), Joseph (Melissa), Anthony (Nicole)
Alyssa (Matt), Matthew and Sean, Paul Jr. (Danielle) and Kristin, Nicole (Jeremy), Kevin Jr.(Alexis), Daniel (Bridget), John Paul, Andrew (Rebeccah) and Timothy (Kelly). Great grandmother of 18 and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Longtime resident
of Muttontown, Oyster Bay, NY and Naples, FL. Active parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor RC Church, Syosset for over 60 years. Fran took pride in decorating the church altar with fresh flowers from her garden and cooking Italian meals for Rosary Society
events. She was honored for her philanthropy at St. Edward’s Church and Cerebral Palsy of LI. She enjoyed golf and tennis at Huntington Country Club and Wyndemere Club, Naples FL. Fran’s greatest joy was entertaining her family and dear friends. She leaves
a legacy of love and caring for others. Visitation at Beney Funeral Home 79 Berry Hill Road Syosset on Tuesday 8/24 3PM until 8PM. Funeral mass Wednesday
