Frank M. Mallanda, 87, of Woodbury, N.Y. passed away on December 26, 2015. He was married to his wife Madeline( predeceased) for 65 years, who he loved and adored. He leaves behind his son, Craig (Patricia) and daughters Kim (Peter) and Karen (Sal), plus eight adored grandchildren; Lauren, Andrea, Lindsay, Brian, Salvatore, Michael, Jessica and Joseph. Frank was born in Brooklyn, New York, and after serving in the United States Army, returned to Queens, NY and attended "The School of Radio, Electronics and Television." Frank was employed with American Airlines as an Aircraft Technician for 25 years specializing in Avionics. During this time he relocated to Syosset, NY to raise his family. A funeral mass will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Syosset, NY at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 16th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Macula Degeneration Foundation (AMDF).
