Lauren Jean Maturo
March 27, 1994 – October 24, 2026
It is with profound sadness and immeasurable love that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren Jean Maturo, at the age of 32.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a successful marketing executive with RXR. Lauren was also in the second year of the Real Estate Master’s Graduate Program at New York University. Lauren was a beautiful, free spirit who lived life in full color. Unapologetically herself, she embraced the world with a sense of wonder, individuality, and authenticity that was uniquely her own. She had little use for dark colors, preferring a world filled with vibrancy, imagination, and joy.
In her honor, we invite those attending her wake and funeral to dress in their brightest hues, creating a beautiful sea of color in celebration of Lauren.
Exceptionally bright, thoughtful, and effortlessly kind, Lauren possessed a gentle heart and a beauty that radiated from within. A uniquely gifted artist, she expressed her creativity through her work and her extraordinary perspective on life. She started her own online business called “Green by Jean”, where she offered her unique customized art inspired products. Spiritual and profoundly connected to nature, she found inspiration and meaning in the wonders of the world around her.
Above all, Lauren cherished her family. She was the adored daughter of Michael and Paula Maturo and the beloved sister of Elise and Jillian. The love they shared was immeasurable, and the memories they created will be treasured forever.
Lauren’s presence was indelible. Her spirit, creativity, and the love she inspired will remain etched in the hearts of all who knew her.
And while the world may feel a little less vibrant without her, the beauty she brought into it will never fade.
