Lisa was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose love touched everyone who knew her. Lisa loved her family deeply and cherished every gathering, especially during the holidays. Christmas and Thanksgiving were her favorite times of year, full of tradition and good food — much of it lovingly prepared by her.
Professionally, Lisa was an accomplished Insurance and Security Risk Management Executive with subject matter expertise in travel awareness, kidnap, extortion, political detention, evacuation, and workplace violence threats. She brought her intelligence, dedication, and compassion to her work every day. She traveled domestically and internationally for work, interacting with and befriending many, but her true calling was her family and dear friends. She adored her four nieces, who could always count on her for love, advice, and endless encouragement.
Lisa had a deep faith in God that guided her through life. She was generous with both her time and heart, supporting her local church, tutoring adults for Project Literacy, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, and volunteering at Hospice events. She also generously contributed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, her dad’s favorite charity.
She was also the family’s go-to historian, with a special connection to our parents’ generation. Lisa could recall names, dates, and stories that helped keep our family’s history alive and meaningful. She cared fiercely for her loved ones, always standing up for their health and well- being — and her own — with determination and grace. She courageously fought melanoma for more than four years.
Lisa will be missed beyond words. Her love of life, her faith, and her devotion to those she cared for will continue to inspire us all. We will carry her memory in our hearts. She is survived by her mom Rose, her sister Marie, brother John and sister-in-law Doreen, loving nieces Amanda, Julia, Olivia, Lauren, their spouses/significant others. She was so happy to assume the role of Great Aunt Lee to Cooper and Charlotte.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11:00 am, at St Edward the Confessor RC Church, 205 Jackson Avenue, Syosset, NY 11791.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to AIM at Melanoma,
