Madeline built her professional life as a Production Coordinator in the Advertising field, bringing diligence, care, and reliability to her work. Those who knew her best will remember her strength, confidence and the power with which she fought the challenges that life threw at her, with grace and determination.
Madeline is survived by her husband, George W. Gerlinsky; her daughter, Christine Rodriguez (David); her son, Gregory Gerlinsky (Natalie); and her grandsons, Samuel, Justin, and Alexander. She was predeceased by her father, James Quigley, and her mother, Katherine Markowitz.
Visitation will be held at Beney Funeral Home, Harbor Room, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791, on August 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 690 Woodbury Rd, Woodbury, NY 11797, on August 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933, on August 4, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
