STUURMAN - Margaret C. of Glen Cove, NY, formerly of Laurel Hollow, NY, passed away February 5, 2014. Predeceased by her husband, John H.G. Stuurman III, sister Catherine Shea and son, J. Pieter Stuurman. Loving mother of Susan Stuurman Affuso and Linda A. Stuurman. Devoted grandmother of Elizabeth P. Affuso and Benjamin P. Affuso. Margaret was former President of the Oyster Bay Historical Society and a former trustee of the Raynham Hall Museum in Oyster Bay, NY. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed painting, reading, traveling, antiques and animals. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic's Chapel, 93 Anstice Street, Oyster Bay, NY on Saturday, February 8 at 10:30am. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
