BRACHOCKI, Mary V. (nee Brennan) - of Woodbury, NY and formerly of Syosset, NY on February 21, 2017. In loving memory of Mary… devoted Mother, Grandmother and friend. Mary passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on February 21, 2017. Predeceased by her husband, John A. Brachocki, and her brother, William T. Brennan. Survived by her loving children Christine (Bruce) Lyon, Diane (Gerald) Brinkman, Timothy (Linda) Brachocki and Michael Brachocki; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her brother Thomas P. (Barbara) Brennan and many nieces, nephews and caring friends. Mary was a life-long learner and lover of the Arts. She was a dedicated docent at Heckscher Museum of Art and Coe Hall Mansion at Planting Fields State Historic Park for many years. Reposing at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791. Visiting Monday, February 27th, 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 28th, 9:45 AM at St. Edward Confessor R.C. Church, 205 Jackson Ave., Syosset, NY 11791. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Meals on Wheels program in Mary’s memory.
