Shirley Jane Patterson

Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on March 12, 1945, she was the cherished daughter of the late Janet (Gray) Sacasky and Stanley Sacasky. Shirley spent her formative years in Fairchance, Pennsylvania, graduating from Fairchance Georges High School.

Shirley moved to New York, where she met and married the love of her life, the late James Robert Patterson. Together they built a loving home in Syosset, New York, where they raised their two daughters, Kelly (Patterson) DiBiase and Bobbi Patterson.

Shirley’s professional life was marked by dedication and competence. She began her career as a Lab Technician at Huntington Hospital, before embarking on a long and successful career as the office manager for Dr. Edward Wright and Dr. Joseph Hindman in Syosset, NY, where she served for the majority of her working years.

Predeceased by her parents, Janet (Gray) Sacasky and Stanley Sacasky, and her husband, James Robert Patterson. Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, deeply cherished by her daughters, Kelly (Patterson) DiBiase and her husband Lenny DiBiase, and Bobbi Patterson and her fiancé, Frank Winters. She was a devoted grandmother and will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Anna, Kaylee, and Louis James, who brought immeasurable light to her life.

Shirley’s kindness, strength, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, and compassionate heart. Her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends for years to come.
