Sylvia (Sofia) Alfieri passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at the age of 95. Sylvia was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 25th, 1926 to Carmela and Carmine and raised with her beloved brothers, Michael and Gaetano (Harry).
Beloved wife of the late Gaetano (Thomas). Loving mother of Richard and daughter-in-law Barbara. Cherished grandmother to Sophia, Julianna and Thomas. She leaves behind a legacy of love to her nieces, nephews and many friends in both New York and Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made in Sylvia's name to the National Shrine of the North American Martyrs, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or North Shore Animal League.
