Theresa Ragno, a beloved and cherished resident of Woodbury, New York, passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on January 2, 1934, Theresa was a devoted daughter of the late Joseph Cuollo and Lucia Passavanti. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Ragno.
Theresa is survived by her loving children, Philip Ragno (Kathy), Rose Ann Ragno (Russell), and Joseph Ragno (Jessy). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Salvatore Renzo (Tatiana), Dana St.Pierre (Brian), Robert Zagaria, Dominick Ragno (Maggie), Danielle Ragno (Haia), David Ragno, and Valerie Ragno. She was also the proud great-grandmother to Salvatore Joseph Renzo, Ava Grace Renzo, and Isabella Rose St.Pierre.
Theresa led a fulfilling career working in the bursar's office at Brooklyn College. Her life was marked by her devotion to her faith and family.
Visitation will be held at Beney Funeral Home, located at 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY, on Sunday September 14, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 205 Jackson Ave, Syosset, NY, on Monday September 15, 2025, from 9:45 am to 10:30 am. The mass will be available for live streaming at https://www.st-edwards.org. Following the mass, a committal service will be held at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY, from 11:15 am to 11:45 am.
