William served his country with courage in the United States Marine Corps, and he carried that same steady resolve into a life of public service as a New York State Trooper. In every role he undertook, William was known for the quiet strength of a man who worked diligently, met responsibility head-on, and remained steadfastly committed to those who depended on him. His life reflected enduring devotion—first to duty, and always to family.
William was predeceased by his wife, Marie McLaughlin. He is survived by his daughters, Marie White (Christopher) and Diane Fierro (Christopher); his grandchildren, Isabella White, Gregory White, Christopher Fierro, Lauren Fierro; and his brother, Michael McLaughlin.
