

Cesario Palucci, 85, of Liverpool passed away Sunday at the Francis House. Born in Vasto, Italy he has been a resident of the Syracuse area since 1952. Cesario retired from Joseph Cashier Sheet Metal Company where he worked for over 30 years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Local #58, a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and a member of the Sons of Italy. Mr. Palucci served in the Italian Army. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Giulia Gemma Palucci.
Survivors include his daughter, Caroline (Anthony) D’Innocenzo of Florida; sons, Robert (Ann Marie) Palucci of Liverpool and Frank (Michelle) Palucci of New Hampshire; sisters, Adriana (Guiseppe) Zappala and Gilda D’Aurizio; brother, Antonio (Michela) Palucci; eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:15 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park St.
