Della Ann Chartrand, 79, passed away Sunday. She was born, November 21, 1933 in Hogansburg, NY. Della was a member of St. Regis Mohawk Tribe-Turtle Clan. She belonged to the Victory Noll Missionary Sisters Huntington, Indiana for 20 years and was an associate for the rest of her life. She lived in Syracuse for the last 35 years to be near her family. She was predeceased by brothers, Stanley and Arthur Shatraw; sisters, Mary Whipple, Leona Kamide and Rita Titone.
She is survived by her sister, Victoria June (Peter) Vercillo; sisters-in-law, Marlene and Susan Shatraw; brother-in-law, Frank Titone; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
