Dolores (Marnell) Spina

Dolores (Marnell) Spina, 81, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully Tuesday surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born in Syracuse, she was a life resident of the area. A devout catholic, Dolores was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church and devoted to her faith with a strong lifelong devotion to St. Anne. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Spina in 1986 and sisters, Clem DeFrancisco and Gloria Danello.

Dolores is survived by daughter, Debbie (Mike) Walker of Liverpool; son, John (Kathy) Spina of Liverpool; sister, Hilda (Frank) Loguidice of Dewitt; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joseph, Laura, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Nick, Naiara, and Arianna; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 9:15 A.M. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 A.M. at St. Margaret’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday (today) from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
