Edward S. Kasarda

Edward S. Kasarda, 62, of Liverpool, passed Tuesday. A lifetime resident of East Syracuse and Liverpool, NY, he was formerly employed at Miller Brewing Company, JR Simplot, and most recently at Syracuse Packaging. A veteran of the United States Army, Edward served his country during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Deb Pattit Kasarda; daughter, Melissa (Guy) Pendergrass of North Carolina; son, Nicholas (Gillian) Kasarda of Camillus; brother, John (Sherry) Kasarda of South Carolina; sister, Linda (Phil) Trimm of Potsdam; brother-in-law, Ron Pattit of Liverpool; beloved grandchildren, Seth and Chase Kasarda, and Holden and Greyson Pendergrass; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 5 p.m., 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Burial will be private.
