George Zerrillo

George Zerrillo, 85, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A life resident of Syracuse, he retired from Sgroi Contracting. A veteran of WWII, George served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Simon Parise Post 9596 and was also a member of Wanoa Golf Course. Predeceased by his parents; and brothers and sisters, Tony, Nick, Chet, Carmen, Frank, Ed, Rose, and Fanny.

Survivors include one son, James A. Zerrillo of Mattydale; daughter, Annette M. Zerrillo (Andy Vincent) of North Syracuse; one granddaughter, Alicia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 8:15 A.M. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 9 A.M. at St. Daniel’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will celebrate. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
