Gregoria "Gloria" Medina-Lopez

Gregoria “Gloria” Medina-Lopez, 91 years old, has earned her wings and has changed her residence to her heavenly home on July 2, 2013 to join her loving husband, Herminio Medina-Lopez of 62 years. Born in Anasco, Puerto Rico in 1922 and relocated to Brooklyn, NY in 1947.

Mother of five children, Israel Medina, Annamia Medina-Reid, Sonia Otero (Benito), William “Bill” Medina, and Evelyn Medina-Voutsinas (Calvin) and eight grandchildren, Kenneth Otero, Dana Reid, Evan Medina, Elijah, Christian, Gabriella Medina, Nancy Medina-Scalli, and Israel Medina, Jr., and three great-grandchildren. Two surviving sisters, Cecilia Ramirez and Maria Barreto.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 5th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
