Gregory Johnson, 52 of Syracuse, passed away at home on Monday with his family by his side. Born in Richmond VA he moved to Syracuse at an early age. Greg served as infantrymen in the US Army. He was predeceased by his parents, John Jr. and Malissie Johnson. Surviving are his wife Shirley Bailey; daughters, Cheryl (Travis Sr.), Shari (Brandon Sr.), Gemisha, Lanesha, Shatiffa and Tachell (James); sons, Gregory W. Jr., Gregory D., and Kevin Hobbs; sisters, Gwendolyn Johnson (Dave) and Diane (Tyrone) Newton; brother, Curtis Jamison and 17 grandchildren.
Calling Hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 104 Elizabeth St Syracuse 13205 with a funeral service to follow immediately after.
