Janice (Williams) Jones, 56, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at her home. Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she graduated from Onondaga Community College. Janice was a long time employee of Loretto Nursing Home as a CNA. Predeceased by her father, James Williams.
Survivors: Her daughter, Akeela Peterson of Syracuse; sons, Jameel Peterson and Keith Peterson, both of Syracuse; her mother, Leedora Williams; her companion, Charles Kubinda; sister, Corless Mims; brothers, James, Johnny, and Allan Williams; two grandchildren, Niquash Jones and Zyasia Walls.
Funeral service: Friday 4 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
