Joan Wheeler
May 23, 1930 – January 10, 2012
Joan Wheeler, 81, of Solvay, passed away on Tuesday. A life resident of Syracuse, she retired from Kenmore Hotel after many years.
Survivors: Daughters, Patricia and husband Donny Drogo, Madeline and husband Steve Mathe, Alice Sherman, Kathy and husband Henry Carroll, Barbara and husband Arthur Samson, Cindy and husband Mark Schnur, Karen and husband Russ Malcolm, and Mary Beth and husband Mark Robinson; sons, Richard, Edward, Charles, Andrew, William and wife Brenda, and Gregory and wife Shirley; 31 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles; daughters, Sharon Evans and Ruth Campbell; son, Danny; and grandson, Hank Carroll.
Calling hours: Thursday 2-4 P.M. with funeral services to follow at 4 P.M. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Private internment on Friday.
