The Bear and I are brothers from other mothers. The bond of the Trichilo family  and the Neers goes back 40 years.
When my Dad passed 1986 , Joe became my mentor. I will miss him so much.

Dear Theresa, Jerry & Deb, Jeanne & John, and family,

We are so sorry for your loss.  Joe will live on in the hearts and minds of those he knew. When I talked to David on Monday night, he felt so bad that he could not be with Jerry.  I have heard so many wonderful stories about the Trichilo family and the good times the Neer family spent with you all, especially the camping trips with Bear and David.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers!  With sincere sympathy from the entire Neer family--

My most heartfelt condolences to Joe's family.  I remember him since I was a small child, and he worked with my Dad at Engine 4.  Dad and myself would drop by the firehouse when Joe was on duty, and Joe would indulge every child's desire by letting me climb on the engine, help to hold the booster line as he hosed down the driveway, and even hit the engine's siren switch once or twice!  He was a big guy with a big heart, and I shall miss him terribly.

Sorry to here that Joe has past......I worked with him @ Sanford Fire Apparatus....He was a very funny guy to be around....I will remember him always...Larry Hass

My deepest sympathy to Terry and her  children. Joe was a great friend and a great firefighter. Joe was a sportsmen and archer. He taught me how to shoot a bow. We spent many a day trecking up and down the hills of the souther teir. He had such a dry sence of humor, which kept all of us in stiches on a cold night in our camp, sometimes without heat. Uncle Joe,
You and Aunt Theresa have always been on my heart and mind. You were there for me many times in my life. You are not gone just changed address, Aunt Theresa may the loving arms of our savior comfort you, Jeanie and Gerry at this time. When Christ was in the Garden of Getsamanie, God sent down 10,000 Angels to comfort minister to him ... Many Gods troop of 10,000 Angels be there for you. I love you very much, and pray for you ... Uncle Joe will be missed but, I will have the memory of him for ever.
