

Nancy A. (Huston) Lentz, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday at Francis House. She was born to John and Helen Pauline Huston, and grew up in Eastwood. She retired from Liverpool School District after 30 years. Nancy was devoted to her family, and was a loving and giving wife, mother, and grandmother. Predeceased by her son-in-law, Richard Peters; her sister, Joyce Huston; and her former husband, William Dougherty.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 24 years, Charles E. Lentz, III; her wonderful daughters, Patricia (Richard deceased) Peters, Kelly Dougherty, Kathleen (Eric) Heil; grandchildren, Jessica and Kacey Peters, Andrew and Elizabeth Heil; “adopted daughter”, Christina Wagner; step children, Charles Lentz, IV, Katie (Mike) Drury and children, Brianna and Kailyn. Nancy is also survived by her sister, Donna (Phil) Rose; brother, John (Evonne) Huston; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. W. Douglas Bunn and his staff for their friendship and an extra six years of time with her following the initial diagnosis of ovarian cancer. They also wish to thank Francis House for their care and support.
Friends may visit with Nancy’s family at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel Street, Liverpool, NY 13088 on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with a service to follow at 7 p.m. delivered by the Rev. Diane Wheatley.
A private cremation burial will be at the convenience of the family.
