Susie Strickland

Susie Cavallo Strickland, 93, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday. She was a life resident of Syracuse and a communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Downtown. Susie was a member of the Third Order Franciscan and the St. Theresa Society. Predeceased by her sisters, Millie Stone and Anna Cavallo, brothers, Jake and Nick Cavallo.

She is survived by her sons, James and Donald Strickland; daughter-in-law, Sandy; grandchildren, Mary (Jamie) Ley, James, Brad and Kal Strickland; great-grandchildren, Nicole Strickland, Rachael & Nola Darling, Brett and Logan Strickland, Trevor and Brandon Rey; sisters, Theresa Corman and Mary Frances King; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:15 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Downtown. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park St.
