Sylvia A. House, 69, of Parish, passed away Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long illness. She was a devoted Roman Catholic and a longtime member of AA. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Lauretta Demers.
She is survived by her son, John (Teresa) Anderson; daughter, Becky (Tim) Race; sister, Henrietta (Ronald) Fortin; brothers, Andy (Diane) Demers and Gerald (Mara) Demers; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Mother of Mary Parish, Mexico, NY. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
