

Theodore Holmes, 66, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Albany, Georgia, he resided in Syracuse for 45 years. Theodore retired from Oberdorfer Foundries after 25 years of service. He was a member of Local 1826 UAW.
Survivors: His wife , Julia (Carter)Holmes; sons, Sean Holmes and Excell Maurice Holmes, both of Syracuse, Wayne (Frances) Holmes of Pehlam, GA, and Dexter Lee (Jackyln) Holmes of Miami, FL; sisters, Clara (Drew) Coe of Newton, GA and Ernestine (Greg) Lilly of Albany, GA; brothers, Robert (Gloria) Holmes of Syracuse; devoted sister-in-law, Martha Putman and Brenda Carter, both of Syracuse, Dolores Holmes of Camilla, GA; mother-in-law, Loree Alford of Syracuse; aunt, Weslie Mae Brown of Albany, GA; uncle, Author Lee Brown of Albany, GA; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Calling hours: Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
