Al was my first law partner after I graduated law school. I practiced in his firm for 5 years. Even after I left to form another firm with another attorney, Al and I remained good friends. We often talked about cases each of us was handling and I often sought his advice. While I was practicing with him, he encouraged me to run for Municipal Judge in Greene County. I won that race and it started a 17 year political career that included time in the Arkansas House of Representatives and Arkansas Senate. I have often credited him with the successes in my career in both law and politics. I had not seen Al in a number of years, but I often crossed paths with people who were our mutual friends. They would pass on greetings from him and I'm sure they passed mine back. My best to his family. Mike Todd
