Angelia Renea Swimmer

Angelia Renea Swimmer, 47, went home to be with her Savior on April 12,2026 in Tulsa, OK. Angelia was born on July 10, 1978 to Larry and Carolyn Swimmer in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Angie is a graduate of the 1997 class of Sequoyah High School.

Angie loved spending time with family and having dinners with loved ones and friends. She was always on the go, hitting yard sales, and watching shows in Branson. Angie claimed to be a part-time food critic, a TikTok shop tester, and nail technician wannabe. She was quick witted and loved a good belly laugh.

More than anything, Angie dearly loved her granddaughter, Leylani, who she called Bean. Bean was the light of her life and the joy of her soul. Angie unapologetically spoiled her.

Angie is preceded in death by her father, Larry Swimmer, and two grandsons, Ezekiah Lee Rhodes and Mateo James Rhodes, grandparents Isaac and Carrie Locust, and grandparents Charlie “Poppi” Swimmer and Lorene Phillips.

Angie leaves behind her mother, Carolyn Swimmer, a son, Alec Stopp and partner Jamie St. Pierre, a daughter, Keri Jones and partner Kaiden Rhodes, one granddaughter, Leylani Renea Rose Rattlinggourd, and her cat Max, all of the home. Also surviving Angie is a brother, Jerad Swimmer, a niece London Swimmer, both of Miami, OK and three aunts, Kim Swimmer, Lynn Candy, and Linda Candy, all of Tulsa, OK. Angie has a host family and friends she adopted as family that she left to cherish her memory.

A time of visitation will be held for Angie on Thursday, April 16th, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Services for Angie will be on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00am at Reed-Culver in Tahlequah, OK with Brother Dennis Sixkiller and Pastor Clay Buckner officiating. Angie will be laid to rest at Barber Cemetery in Welling, OK.

Serving as pallbearers include Alec Stopp, Bradley Locust, Nathan Scheu, Logan Webber, Honest Locust, and Jay Holcomb. Honorary pallbearers include Kaiden Rhodes, Jerad Swimmer, and Delbert Harper Jr.
