Ardelle M Lesnick

Ardelle Marie (West) Lesnick was born on March 21st, 1941, in Van Nuys, CA, the daughter of Marvin Woodrow West and Dorothy Heaman West. She was raised with one brother, Darrell. She graduated from high school and then decided on a career as a ward clerk at Arrowhead Medical Regional Center in the Pediatric Unit in San Bernadino, CA. She loved people and helping them, and she always took the extra step to do whatever she could for them. Talking to people was her forte, she loved to share a good story or to hear what was new in friends lives. She never had a dull moment, she loved growing roses, working on crafts such as tee shirts, ironing on appliques and painting them. There was nothing better than a weekend spent camping with her family, and maybe cooking over an open fire. Loved a good classic car show and had two classic trucks she entered. There was an occasional crocheting session or quilting session often worked while on her lunch break. She had a large heart and always looked out for everyone except herself, was kind, considerate and loving. She raised three daughters and they were the light of her life and what made her truly happy. Debbie, Darlene and Denice were her pride and joy. A Christian by faith, she attended church in Highland, CA and served in any capacity asked of her. The view from her own backyard was good for her, she was happy with the gift of a new day, sunshine and a family to love. The Lord called this hard working woman home from her many labors on June 10th, 2023 in Grove, OK, surrounded by the family she loved. She was 82 years old and will not be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Heaman West and her father, Marvin Woodrow West, and her grandparents as well as a grandchild, Kristen Stover.

Ardelle lives on in her daughters, Debbie Baker and husband Gary of Virginia, Darlene Lesnick of Oklahoma and Denice Lesnick of Texas. She lives on in her 4 grand and 5 great grandchildren as well as her brother, Darrell West and wife Janet of Washington, and many friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.

A Celebration of the Life of Ardelle Marie Lesnick will be held on July 29th, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Grandwood Nursing Facility at 2001 Sunrise Blvd in Grove, OK. Online condolences for her family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
